Automated Checks on Uploaded Photos

To deliver requested features and keep the service safe, uploaded photos may pass through the following temporary, automated checks:

Face visibility check (themed video templates): Before creating a themed video, our server uses Cloudflare Image Transformations to check whether a face is visible in the uploaded photo, so we can tell you if the photo is unsuitable. The only result is a yes/no answer. If needed, the photo may also be automatically cropped around the face to improve the generated result; the cropped copy is handled like any other uploaded media.
Age safety check (image-to-video): Before an image-to-video generation, the uploaded photo is sent to OpenAI (or, as a fallback, to a Moondream model hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI) to assess whether the photo appears to depict a person under 18, in order to prevent misuse involving minors. The only result is a yes/no safety decision.

These checks do not identify anyone, do not perform facial recognition, and do not create, store, or share face measurements, face templates, or other biometric identifiers. Check results are used only to allow or block the requested generation.

We do not use your content for:

Facial recognition or identification purposes
Building facial recognition databases
Extracting, storing, or retaining face data or biometric identifiers
Training our own AI models
Tracking or profiling users
Marketing or advertising purposes
Any purpose other than providing the generation and editing service you request

Third-Party Service Providers

Your uploaded content is transmitted securely through our servers to third-party providers only as needed to process your requests. These providers may include:

Google Cloud (Gemini / Vertex AI): Image editing and AI processing
OpenAI: Image generation and editing, and the age safety check described above
WaveSpeed AI: Video and image generation (including models from providers such as MiniMax and Kling, accessed through WaveSpeed)

Where Content Is Stored and Processed:

Primary Storage: Uploaded photos/images and videos may be stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage (located in data centers operated by Cloudflare)
Third-Party Processing: Media and text prompts may be transmitted to one or more AI providers listed above for generation or editing
No Permanent Storage by Default: We do not provide uploaded media to AI providers for permanent storage by us; provider handling is governed by their applicable policies and processing requirements

Content is shared only with the providers needed to fulfill your requested generation or editing task
We do not sell or rent your media or prompts
We do not intentionally send direct identifiers (such as your name or email address) to AI providers unless you include them in uploaded content or prompts
Content is not used for any purpose other than providing the service you requested
Media is not shared for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes

Purchases and Refund Requests

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

If you ask Apple for a refund of an in-app purchase, Apple may ask us for information about that purchase to help it decide your request. In that case, we may share the following with Apple for that purchase only:

Whether the purchase was delivered and worked as expected
How much of the purchase you used (for example, the share of purchased or subscription credits spent on generations)
Whether a free trial or a description of the app’s features was available before purchase
Our preferred outcome for the refund request

This information is linked to the purchase’s App Store transaction ID. We do not share your uploaded media, prompts, generated content, name, or email address with Apple for this purpose. Uploaded photos/images and videos are retained for up to 30 days from the time of upload. After this period:
